Mind Health For Medical Students (CRN 1196846) is a charity run by healthcare professionals and medical students that aims to drive mental health and wellbeing awareness amongst healthcare professionals. The project runs through an Instagram campaign that features a variety of resources and advice in a user-friendly format as well as the website which features a help hub where healthcare professionals can get advice and support.
Sleep.
Sleep and mood affect each other. Not getting enough sleep can take its toll on your mind and can even lead to mental health problems such as anxiety
Movement.
Exercise is a natural and effective anti-anxiety treatment. It relieves tension and stress, boosts physical and mental energy, and enhances well-being through the release of endorphins.
Nutrition.
There is research to suggest that what we eat may affect not just our physical health, but also our mental health and wellbeing
Prevention.
It is important to be proactive with mental health and wellbeing in order to achieve a good work life balance. Prevention is one of our core concepts in order to help people before they reach a point where they are struggling.
Balance.
Your body needs plenty of rest, exercise and healthy food. It's important to take some time out from a busy day to enjoy activities and unwind.
Mindfulness.
Becoming more aware of the present moment can help us enjoy the world around us more and understand ourselves on a day to day basis.
